So we are just a simple, Jesus-loving-without-apology-family who also happens to have a taste for dakine ono grinds.  Dad has always enjoyed cooking and previously being a professional artist, fiddling around with ingredients until it tasted good was a hobby that just came naturally since da “hannah buddah days” (pigeon English for “when he was a small child – prone to runny noses”).  

Dad’s latest food endeavor has been in hot sauces.  Bottles of the now-famous (kindof… in some circles at least) Spicy Red Stuff were given out to friends and family last Christmas and apparently tiny riots broke out over the bottles of hot sauce.  A number of people suggested that the sauces be bottled and sold.  The good Lord has had our family on a mission and we’ve been a bit busy this past year, but since it’s coming up on Christmas, we wanted to share the hot-sauce luv with anyone who “like sample”. 

Speaking of missions, rest assured that we want to use our financial blessings to bless others, so we are putting our money where our mouth is and pledging to donate %10 of all profits to charity. 

By the way, if you happen to have read through all of this, you’re amazing!  You’re basically already ohana (if you weren’t already… Hi Mom!), and as such, qualify for the free “Ohana delivery service” (well…  if you live on Oahu).  When you check out, and choose your method of payment, just remind me that you qualify for the Ohana discount and when we get you your hotsauce, we’ll deliver it for free!   

Very lastly, but most importantly, we want to let you know that not only do we love you, but Jesus loves you too!  Just like we just demonstrated that we love you in some small way by offering to deliver your hot sauce for free, Jesus demonstrated that he loves us (in a huge way) by paying the price for all of our sins with his very life!  

The Bible says that the payment that a Holy and Perfect God must give to people that break his laws is death (in Hell.  Yipes.)  Maybe you haven’t murdered anyone ever, but if you’ve ever taken anything that didn’t belong to you (stealing), or told a lie, or used God’s name in vain (for example: “OMG”), God says that you are not perfect enough to get to heaven and instead are deserving of death in Hell.  But the thing is that God loves people so much that He did everything possible to keep you from having to go to Hell.  Jesus came to earth and lived the perfect life you and I couldn’t live and then gave up his perfect life as a sacrifice for the wrongs that we’ve done in our life.  So, the Good News is that by coming to Jesus and simply believing that His death and resurrection from the dead has paid the payment for our sins, we can be saved and go to heaven!  We should also choose to turn away from sin (repent) and instead choose to follow what Jesus says to do.  If you’ve never done that before but would like to do it, it is super simple!   Just tell Jesus that you believe that He died for your sins and that He came back to life and that you are turning away from any wrong things you know of and want to now follow Him!
